Stepmother Breaks TV; New Car Scam: Swampscot Police

At 9:06 a.m., a Phillips Avenue resident got a scam call from someone saying that they had one money and a new car.

At 2:40 p.m., there was a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Columbia Street reported.

At 4:01 p.m., there was a report of a blocked crosswalk ramp at Humphrey Street and Monument Avenue.

At 7:24 p.m., an Eastman Avenue resident was concerned about a man who came to the door and said he was from National Grid, although he was not wearing a uniform.

At 8:55 p.m., a Blaney Street resident reported that his stepmother broke his television.

At 9:45 p.m., there was a report of a motor vehicle driving in the cemetery with no headlights on on Capen Road.
