Students Evacuated, Sent Home After Bomb Threat
A bomb threat was received at Swampscott High School on Thursday morning.

Students at Swampscott High School were evacuated and later sent home after a bomb scare at the school on Thursday morning.
The evacuation happened at about 9:45 a.m. By 10:30 p.m., students were sent home and investigators began a search of the building. A K9 from Salem was also called in to assist. Initial reports were that no device was found.
It is the second bomb scare in eastern Massachusetts in as many days. A threat was also received at Bedford High School on Wednesday, and also at Bedford High School in southern New Hampshire.
