SWAMPSCOTT, MA – A man with a camouflage bandana over his face rushed toward a woman getting out of her car on Beach Avenue and pushed her to the ground on Wednesday morning, according to a police report.

The woman kicked the man and started screaming, attracting the attention of a business owner across the street. The business owner ran after the man, who fled down Beach Avenue and disappeared down Mountain Avenue. Officers didn't find the man, and said he didn't get any items from the woman.

The would-be robber was wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, and work boots, according to the only description available. Officers said the attack was unprovoked, and the victim refused medical attention.
