The traditional 3rd of July Parade co-hosted by Lynn and Swampscott is also canceled.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — With social distancing measures expected to be in place throughout most of the summer, Swampscott joined the growing list of Massachusetts communities that are canceling Fourth of July celebrations.
In Swampscott, that means the fireworks display scheduled for July 3 are off for 2020, Swampscott Town Manager Sean Fitzgerald said in a joint announcement with Lynn Mayor Thomas McGee. The traditional 3rd of July Parade hosted by the two municipalities is also canceled.
