Swampscott Coronavirus Threat Falls In Latest State Report

In the most recent update of the state's coronavirus map, Swampscott's COVID-19 case count and positive test rates fell.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — With fewer than five new coronavirus cases over the most recent two-week period, Swampscott moved out of the "lower risk" COVID-19 designation, according to data released by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Tuesday.

The percentage of positive test results for Swampscott residents over the past 14 days fell to 1.33 percent. The number of new cases was also lower.
