Swampscott Dog Rescued From Harbor

Molly, who was reported missing a week ago, jumped into the water as Swampscott residents tried to grab her.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Molly, a dog reported missing a week ago, is safe at home, thanks to the Swampscott Harbormaster Unit.

Residents who spotted the dog near the Swampscott shoreline tried to grab her, but Molly jumped into the water and started doggy paddling away from her would-be rescuers. Police officers assigned to the harbormaster unit were able to pull Molly into their boat and reunite her with her owner.
