Swampscott Police Investigate Rash of Tire Slashings
Nearly 20 incidents of someone slashing tires were reported over the past few nights.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA – Police are looking for the men suspected of slashing roughly 20 tires over the past couple of nights in Swampscott in the area of Eastern Avenue and Columbia Street. Lynn Police are investigated similar incidents nearby, as are Saugus Police on the Lynn/Saugus line.
Surveillance footage from a Swampscott victim shows two men who have not yet been identified. Swampscott Police say the incidents seem to take place late at night or very early in the morning, and ask anyone with information to call Swampscott detectives at 781-595-1111.
