Swampscott Police Nab Alleged Repeat Drunk Driver

Tuesday, June 10

  • At 8:24 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Paradise Road.
  • At 8:41 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Pine Street.
  • At 6:55 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Phillips Beach Avenue.
  • At 7:01 p.m., police responded to a report of a large object in the roadway near the intersection of Humphrey and Marshall streets.
  • At 7:35 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Mall Access Road. Ronald Claveau, 48, of 160 Boston St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, second offense.
  • At 8:00 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Commonwealth Terrace.
  • At 8:22 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Redington Street.
  • At 9:41 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Norfolk Avenue.
  • At 11:19 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Paradise Road.

Wednesday, June 11

  • At 2:52 a.m., police conducted a building check on Railroad Avenue.
  • At 5:10 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Linden Avenue.
