Swampscott Schools Among Best in State, Nation: New Rankings
Niche.com has released its 2016 rankings of top schools and districts across the country. Where did Swampscott rank?

Swampscott Public Schools and its individual schools routinely make the various ”best of” lists when it comes to ranking schools, and this recent list is no different.
According to Niche.com, Swampscott High School is the 112th best public high school in Massachusetts and the 2,482th best public high school nationally among a pool of more than 23,000 ranked schools.
When it comes to the town’s elementary schools, Hadley came in at 237th, Clarke at 250th and Stanley at 284th in the state. The top five elementary schools in the state are in Lexington, according to the rankings.

In terms of overall district rankings, Swampscott Public Schools came in at No. 71. Lexington Public Schools claimed the top spot in the district rankings in the state.
To calculate the rankings, Niche.com considered “statistics, student and parent reviews and expert insights. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, student and parent reviews, and more.”
