Swampscott Students Honored At Assumption, Bryant, Emerson, RIT, WPI

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — These Swampscott students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

Lilian Gosselin and Anna Mishenina earned a spot on the Bryant University fall 2023 Dean's List. Students must have a 3.4 grade-point average to make the Bryant Dean's List.

Simon Lee was named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Lee is in the illustration program.

Assumption University said Chloe Freddo, Class of 2027, has been named to the university's Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester. Students named to the Dean's List must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester.

The following Swampscott residents were named to Clark University's fall 2023 Dean's List. Ethan Keller, Annie Overbaugh and Diana Shalimova achieved first honors.

Aidan Bonner, Piper Hall, Abraham Beuttler, Eve Levy and Samuel White were named to the Emerson College Dean's List with a 3.7 GPA or higher.

Bonner is a member of the Class of 2025 majoring in media arts production, Hall is a member of the Class of 2026 majoring in writing, lit and publishing, Beuttler is a member of the Class of 2026 majoring in sports communications, Levy is a member of the Class of 2026 majoring in media arts production, and White is a member of the Class of 2027 majoring in media arts production.

Jack Custer and Isabella Perault were named to the College of the Holy Cross Dean's List with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Abigail Ghiradini and Chloe Silverman were named to the Dean's List at Coastal Carolina University with a GPA of 3.5 or higher this fall.

Gillian Jacobs was named to the Muhlenberg College Dean's List with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Abigail Beaver, Isabella Chavez, Olivia Matela, Veronika Isagulyan earned Dean's List honors at Emmanuel College with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Pablo Vargas Ortega has earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Vargas Ortega was among approximately 6,300 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute's 265th Commencement exercises Dec. 15 - 16, 2023, at McCamish Pavilion.

Colin Masucci and Jack Morris were named to the WPI Dean's List. They are both members of the Class of 2026 majoring in computer science.

Nathan DeRoche, Katherine Strothman and Avery Upton were named to the University of Delaware fall 2023 Dean's List.

Shannon Phelan earned a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Valdosta State University. Nearly 900 students completed their degree requirements at VSU during Fall Semester 2023 and graduated during the university's 236th commencement weekend.

Regis College said Caylee Conrad was named to the university's fall 2023 Dean's List recognizing their outstanding academic achievements.

Elias Zaklin was named to the College of Charleston Fall 2023 Dean's List (Distinguished). Zaklin is majoring in Undecided.
