Swampscott Traffic Alert: Essex Street Work

SWAMPSCOTT, MA – Swampscott Police announced on Monday that Essex Street by Danvers Road and Eastman Avenue will be down to one lane for the next two weeks for a sewer main replacement. According to the post on the Swampscott Police Facebook page, the work will begin around 7 a.m., and will go into the evening.

Police urge drivers to avoid Essex Street and Danvers Road whenever possible, and to expect traffic congestion along delay routes.
