Swamptober Fest Returns To North Shore This Weekend

The event featuring Barry Goudreau of the classic rock band Boston is Saturday on the Town Hall lawn.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The feel and flavor of fall meets the dwindling days of summer in Swampscott on Saturday with the return of the annual Swamptober Fest.

The music, food, beer and family-activity event will be on the Town Hall lawn from 4 to 8 p.m. with gates open at 3:45.

Special guest Barry Goudreau of the legendary rock band Boston will appear with the Brian Maes Band as the headliner. Turtle on a Strong will be the opening band from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

There will be a kids' area with inflatables, food and deserts for purchase and a beer garden sponsored by the Swampscott Yacht Club featuring Harpoon and Viva Tequila Seltzer.

Admission is $5 with kids 3 and under admitted for free.

Chairs are welcome but no outside food or alcohol is allowed. Beer and RTD cocktail purchases must be contained in a designated area.

Accessible parking available along Monument Avenue on the Linscott Park side.
