Thanksgiving Farmers' Market to Return, Offer Preorders for Turkey and Desert

The Swampscott Farmers' Market will bring it inside on the Sunday before Thanksgiving to offer shoppers a way to prepare for the holiday.

The Swampscott Farmers’ Market will return this year with another indoor Thanksgiving market.

The market is planned for the usual farmers market day and time and will happen on Sunday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The Thanksgiving market “was such a huge hit last year” organizers said it is returning this year and will be “bigger and better than ever.”

The sale will be the Sunday before Thanksgiving, allowing shoppers to “stock up on local turkeys, vegetables and baked goods to make your Thanksgiving table stand out.” You can reserve a turkey and baked goods beforehand so you can pick them up at the market. The Farmers Market website has links to all the vendors that are taking advance orders, including turkeys and desserts.

Crafts will also be on sale, including hand-made jewelry, stocking stuffers, soaps, lotions, hats, mittens, scarves, blankets, cutting boards and pottery.
