'Tired and Confused' Couple Gives Taxi Driver Wrong Address: Police Log

SWAMPSCOTT, MA -

At 2:59 p.m., a resident reported a stolen laptop.

At 4:22 p.m., a caller reported that three packages had been stolen from her front porch after they had been delivered.

At 5:26 p.m., a resident requested police check on a vehicle that had been parked in the area for a week, but was unknown in the neighborhood.

At 6:18 p.m., a caller reported a cat had been staying on her porch for the past week.

At 6:55 p.m., a resident turned in old ammunition for disposal.

At 9:50 p.m., a Boston taxi driver said he picked up an elderly couple from Boston Logan and they gave him an address. When they arrived at the address, the couple realized it was the wrong one and said they were tired and confused. The couple refused treatment and were able to get in their home.

At 10:56 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle had been parked outside for an hour with an unknown party inside.
