Vinnin Square to be Second Home for Popular Italian Restaurant
The pizza and sandwich restaurant has been in Marblehead for 20 years and now plans a second location in Vinnin Square.

An award-winning Marblehead restaurant will be opening a second location on the Salem side of Vinnin Square.
Cafe Vesuvius said it plans to open a new location at 2 Paradise Road in Salem. No exact timeline has been announced for an opening, and the restaurant said “more details and photos” will be announced soon.
Cafe Vesuvius, next to Village Plaza on Bessom Street in Marblehead, has been in business for 20 years and is an Italian restaurant that serves sandwiches and pizzas - all made by hand. Its pizza was voted best pizza in the North Shore in 2013, according to Cafe Vesuvius.

The new location in Vinnin Square, right near the townline of Marblehead, Salem and Swampscott, was most recently The New Yorker Deli, and has also been the Black Cow Express, J Quick Kitchen and a Kentucky Fried Chicken.
