Walker Notices Man Laying in Front of Crescent Street Residence
Plus, middle school basketball hoop knocked down at night.

Saturday, Oct. 24
At 3:38 a.m., a resident reported a loud banging coming from Swampscott Middle School. Police found the basketball hoop had been knocked down.
At 2:27 p.m., a woman reported losing her phone near the Petco at Vinnin Square. She tracked the phone and when it became stationary, she called police to ask for an officer to attempt to retrieve the phone. An officer responded and found the phone in the store’s possession after someone had turned it in.

At 10:01 p.m., a caller reported someone was ringing their doorbell, but the caller wasn’t expecting anyone and was afraid.

At 10:09 p.m., a report came in of youths ringing doorbells.
At 11:36 p.m., a person out walking said a man was laying on the ground in front of a Crescent Street address. The caller didn’t know if it was a medical issue or if the man was simply passed out. The man was transported to the hospital.
