Woman Screams For Help With Gas Pump

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police log:
Monday, Sep. 12
- At 11:05 a.m., police responded to Paradise Road for a report of a woman yelling for help. The woman was having trouble with a gas pump.
- At 4 p.m. a resident reported a black bag unattended at a construction site. Police found it had one of the construction worker's lunch in it.Â

- At 10:20 p.m. the Fire Department extinguished a stove fire on Hemenway Road.
Thursday, Sep. 15
- At 1:26 p.m. a person told police someone sent threats to them through a website.
- At 3:19 p.m. EMS transfered a man to Salem Hospital after police found him laying on the sidewalk on Hillcrest Circle.
- At 5:25 p.m. a resident told police his car was stolen. It was later learned the man had parked in a different part of town and had forgotten.Â

- A Franklin Avenue resident called police at 6:37 p.m. to tell them her neighbor was trying to steal her cat. The cat was located outside.
Saturday, Sep. 17
- Police and fire responded to Humphrey Street and Greenwood Avenue for a motor vehicle accident without injuries at 11:55 a.m.
- At 6:06 p.m. a resident reported a dog barking for several hours on Lewis Road.
- At 6:59 p.m. a resident reported a dog on Humphrey Street that "howls for hours." Police told the reporting party to report it to
Sunday, Sep. 18
- One person had minor injuries after an accident on Atlantic Avenue at 2:15 p.m.
- State Police transfered a 911 call from Framingham to Swampscott after a woman called 911 and said she believed she was drugged and in Swampscott. Police were unable to locate anyone.
- A group of youths was dispersed from behind the at 4:09 p.m.
Monday, Sep. 19
- Credit card theft was reported at 1:05 p.m. on Burrill Street.
- A resident of Burrill Street reported receiving annoying phone calls at 6:29 p.m.
- A business owner reported two signs were stolen from a construction site on Bay View Drive.
- A resident reported hearing someone call for help at 8:28 p.m. on Paradise Road. Police did not find anyone.
Tuesday, Sep. 20
- At 8:14 a.m. a resident of Brown Road reported getting a suspicious e-mail from a friend.
- A resident of Middlesex Avenue told police his neighbor plays guitar between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. Police told the man to call police when it was happening.
- An unruly passenger on an MBTA bus was placed into protective custody at 6:20 p.m.
- At 8:07 p.m. police received a complaint about people allowing their dogs to run free on the track.
Wednesday, Sep. 21
- At 4:22 a.m. a resident told police they witnessed a man on a ladder in another home's backyard on Outlook Road. No one was found on a ladder when police arrived.
- A handgun was found in a safe deposit box at at 11 a.m.
- At 2:21 p.m. a trailer broke free from a truck and rolled into another vehicle on New Ocean Street. There were no injuries.
Arrests
- Morgan Harold Bogart, 21, 47 Cherry St., Swampscott, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.
- David Lee THomas, 47, 63 Astor St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with a red light violation, driving with a suspended license (subsequent offense), possession of class B substance (subsequent offense) and possession of class E substance.Â
- Clerra Ann Dorrance, 25, 6 Holmes St., Apt. 1, Norton, was arrested and charged with drinking alcohol from an open container while driving and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
- Courtney Brewster, 26, 5 Read St., Apt. 1, Salem, was arrested on a warrant.
- Keron Corley, 36, 93 Timson St., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered car, driving uninsured, failure to have vehicle inspected and driving with a suspended registration.
- Ian Shon Wilkie, 23, 3 Wendell Road, Nahant, was arrested on a warrant for larceny from a building.Â
