$700 Million Powerball Jackpot Drawing Expected Saturday
Saturday's Powerball jackpot is estimated at $675 million, the largest in U.S. history. Here's where to buy your ticket in Swampscott.

The bad news is that you didn’t win the the Powerball jackpot Wednesday night; the good news is that neither did anyone else.
The winning numbers were: 47, 2, 63, 62, 11 and the Powerball of 17. According to Massachusetts Lottery officials, a $1 million winning ticket was sold in Plymouth, but the jackpot went unclaimed.

That means Saturday’s jackpot will be an estimated $700 million, the largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history. The cash payout option is estimated at $428.4 million. The Powerball jackpot was last struck on Nov. 4, 2015; since then the jackpot has been growing through 18 consecutive drawings.
The previous largest lottery jackpot in the U.S. was a Mega Millions jackpot of $656 million in 2012.

Powerball is played by residents in 44 states as well as Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Tickets are $2 and can be purchase until 9:45 p.m. Saturday. The drawing will take place at 10:59 p.m. Saturday.
