Candidates To Gather Saturday For First Forum of Campaign Season
Event is being sponsored by the Tewksbury Republican Town Committee.

Candidates for office in Tewksbury will have their first chance to speak directly to the voters Saturday afternoon, at a Candidates' Forum sponsored by the Tewksbury Republican Town Committee.
All 19 candidates set to appear on the April 6 ballot have been invited to attend and many have already accepted the invitation, according to TRTC Chairman Bob Homeyer.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at as part of the TRTC's monthly meeting for March.

According to Homeyer, the candidates will speak for 5-10 minutes each, depending upon the number of participants.
Homeyer said that in addition to the local candidates, the three candidates participating in the U.S. Senate GOP Primary on April 30 have also been invited to attend, as as newly elected State Republic Chairman Kirsten Hughes.
The event is free and open to the public, regardless of party affiliation.
