Caretaker Arrested for Larceny from Elderly Resident

TEWKSBURY, MA - A Lowell woman was arrested this week for stealing from an 83-year-old resident at the Heatherwood Retirement Living facility in Tewksbury.
On Wednesday, Feb. 10, Tewksbury Police arrested Chanthou Khom, 27, of 25 Linwood Street, Apt. B, Lowell for larceny over $250 from a person over 60 years of age, larceny from a building and identity fraud.

Detectives conducted an investigation into a report that Khom was stealing from an 83-year-old female at the Heatherwood Retirement Living facility in Tewksbury. Khom, who was employed by Senior Helpers (Home Health Caregivers), was assigned to care for the victim. Khom stole checks from the victim and used her debit card without authorization.
Khom was due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court on Feb. 11.
