Eileen (Marshall) Crear, 58, Formerly of Tewksbury
A member of a well-known Tewksbury family, Eileen was raised in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School, Class of 1975.

TEWKSBURY, MA - Mrs. Eileen Ann (Marshall) Crear, 58, a member of a well-known Tewksbury family, died peacefully at her home on Friday, January 22nd in the loving care of her family, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the wife and best friend of Thomas S. Crear, with whom she had celebrated a thirty-seventh wedding anniversary on the 6th of January.
Eileen was born in Malden, in October 1957, one of four children of June M. (d’Entremont) Marshall of Tewksbury, and the late Tewksbury Firefighter, Merrill F. Marshall.

Eileen was raised in Tewksbury, where she graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School with the Class of 1975. She had lived in Lowell since 1978.
Eileen began her career as an assistant to Fr. Bourque at the Franco-American School in Lowell, and had also worked at Eastern Video in Billerica before becoming an Administrative Assistant for Merrimack Education Center in Billerica.

She was active with her sons in the Northern Middlesex Hockey League, and was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins. She was also deeply interested in genealogy and enjoyed taking trips with her family to Newport, RI, Florida and the White Mountains. Eileen will be remembered for her cherished role as wife, mother to her beloved sons and devoted grandmother.
Eileen’s family would like to thank Dr. Blair Ardman, M.D. for his compassion, care, and friendship during her treatment and therapy.
Besides her husband and mother, she leaves her boys, Aaron T. Crear and his companion Kelly Pang of Lowell and Andrew T. and his wife Lisa (Bissett) Crear of Pepperell; her beloved grandsons, Rion and Egan Crear; her siblings, Michael and his wife Janet (Sutherby) Marshall of Hudson, NH, Lois and her husband Steven Goodell of Tewksbury, and Maureen Marshall of Lowell; As well as much extended family. In addition to her dad, she was predeceased by her nephew, Robbie Goodell, who died last October.
Visiting hours Monday, Jan. 25 from 4-7 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey St. and 975 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury Center. Her funeral will begin Tuesday, Jan. 26 from the funeral home at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury. Burial will follow in Tewksbury Cemetery.
