For the first time since the middle of May, gas prices are down in Massachusetts.According to AAA Northeast, prices are down two cents from last week. A June 29 survey found that self-serve, regular unleaded averaged $2.74 per gallon.The lowest price per gallon in Tewksbury right now is at Prime Energy, at $2.67 per gallon, <a href="http://www.gasbuddy.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to Gas Buddy.</a>Compared to a month ago, though, prices are up eight cents in the state. The current price is three cents less than the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.77, said the AAA announcement. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 96 cents higher at $3.70.The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 36 cents, from a low of $2.59 to a high of $2.95.
