Resident Robbed At Gunpoint At Home, Tewksbury Police Say

A juvenile suspect is in custody, according to police.

TEWKSBURY, MA — A juvenile is facing charges after he attempted to rob a person in their home at gunpoint, according to police.

Police responded to a report Friday at 5:40 p.m. that a resident had been robbed at home.

An investigation found that a juvenile went to the victim's home at about 1 a.m. The juvenile pulled out a gun and ordered the victim to hand over money.

A fight followed and the juvenile fled in a white Audi.

The juvenile and the victim knew each other, police said.

Police arrested the 15-year-old suspect at his home in Lawrence on Saturday.

Police said they searched the home and found a gun and multiple bullets.

The juvenile was charged with attempt to commit a crime, two counts of assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The juvenile is scheduled for arraignment in Lowell Juvenile Court on Monday.
