Enjoy a 60-minute concert with local country/folk recording artist Patrick Dalton. Dalton is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and drummer from the Boston area. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has more than 10 years of professional experience performing in small and large venues across New England. Dalton is also a private music instructor and a board certified music therapist. Coffee and munchkins will be served.

  • How To Get Organized & Conquer Clutter (*RR)

Learn how to reduce clutter and get more organized. Attendees will receive tips and strategies on: (1) the three categories of disorganization; (2) categorical decluttering; (3) rules on bulk shopping; (4) 10 ideas to help get you started; and (5) resources -- websites, stores and literature -- on getting organized. Led by Jenna Elliott, the founder of “The Naked Flower: Professional Organizers.”

  • Social Media For Beginners: How To Use Twitter (*RR)

Learn how to improve your health by "going green." Attendees will discover the healing power of foods and how green foods can transform people's lives and health. Through smoothies, juices and "green" recipes, explore how fruits and vegetables can help you attain a healthy lifestyle. Led by Mary McAlary, a certified holistic health coach and organic health food specialist; founder of “New Day One Life Nutrition;” and author of two books, including Go Green For Wellness: Practical Advice for Achieving Good Health.

  • How To Reduce Your Stress with Mindful Living with Sally Palmer (*RR)

Learn how to reduce your stress through mindfulness. Are you having difficulties balancing work and family? Feeling overwhelmed? Is your mind constantly filled with thoughts? Discover how to quiet the noise and understand the source of your stress. Led by Sally Palmer, a certified mindfulness instructor and owner of “Revive Mindfulness: Stress Reduction for Mindful Living.”

Join Miss Heather for some early literacy fun, including stories, songs, fingerplays, lap bounces and more! For babies ages 0 months through 18 months. Space is limited. The 11am session is a repeat of the earlier session.

  • Preschool Story Time

Join Miss Noelle for stories, songs, dancing, instruments and more in this early literacy session. For ages 3 to 6. Older or younger siblings are always welcome.

  • SMARTS Club (*RR)

Tuesday, January 24, 3:30pm

Join us for science, math and technology activities every month! We'll do something different each time. Limited to 15. Registration required and begins on January 17 by calling the Children’s Room. For kids in grades 2 to 5.

  • Mother Ghoose Rhyme Time

Wednesday, January 25, 10:30am

Join us for a session of stories, songs, fingerplays, movement, instruments and more, all geared to getting those early literacy skills activated. For ages 0 to 3. Older siblings are always welcome!

  • Wacky Words Writer’s Workshop (*RR)

Join Miss Noelle and Miss Heather in our new writer's club. Held once per month, this club will explore words, play games, and do fun creative writing activities. This program is limited to 10 participants. Registration required and begins on January 17 by calling the Children’s Room. For ages 8 to 11 (Grades 3-5).

  • Wiggle Time

Join Miss Noelle for some early literacy fun, including stories, movement, songs, fingerplays, instruments, and more! For toddlers ages 18 months through 35 months. Space is limited. The 11am session is a repeat of the earlier session.

  • Chinese New Year Party

Thursday, January 26, 2pm-3pm

Xin nian kuai le! Come and enjoy the beginning of the Red Fire Rooster Year! We'll have a variety of activities and a craft. No registration required, just drop in any time during the party time. For ages 4 to 11.

  • Drop In Toddler Craft

Friday, January 27, 10:30am-11:30am

Come make a fun craft with us today! Drop in any time during the hour to create a craft project. One craft per child. For 2 year-olds (ages 18 months and up).
