Mary F. (Kline) Raposa, 83, of Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY, MA - Mary F. (Kline) Raposa, 83, passed away February 4, 2016.

Mary was born December 16, 1932 in Cambridge, Massachusetts a the daughter to the Edward and Mary (Casey) Kline. Loving wife to the late Francis Raposa who passed in 2001.

Mary was a 1951 graduate of the Cambridge High and Latin School. Being an independent and determined woman, she worked for many years at the Gillette Safety Razor Company, ascending to the position of Executive Secretary. Mary was well- known for her ready smile, caring demeanor and love for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Greg and his wife Elaine (Hill) Raposa of Newburyport, MA three grandchildren, whom she loved very much, Joshua G., Tyler M. and Zachary N. Raposa, all of Newburyport; a brother, Charles Kline and many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends, as well.

Mary was predeceased by her son, Glen Edward Raposa, her siblings, Edward Kline, Dorothy Philips, Katherine Jannetti, Charlotte Doucette and John Kline.

Visiting hours were held Monday, Feb. 8 at Tewksbury Funeral Home. Her funeral will begin Tuesday, Feb. 9 from the funeral home at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. William’s Church 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury at 10 a.m.. Burial will follow in Tewksbury Cemetery.
