Redmen Roundup: Boys' Basketball Stuffs Dracut To Reach State Tournament

After a mid-year swoon, the Tewksbury High boys basketball team has gathered momentum over the last few weeks and qualified for the Division 2 North Sectional Tournament with a 72-51 win over Dracut.

Junior Kevin Dick and sophomore Alex DiRocco dropped in 19 points each to lead a balanced attack for the Redmen. Joe Csokmay chipped in with 10 points, six assists and five rebounds. Justin Derrah added 10 points.
With the win, Tewksbury improved to 8-11 overall. Howver, the Redmen's 5-3 record against Division 2 opponents is enough to qualify for the tournament.
