Students at Tewksbury High recent completed a Teens for Jeans drive. It was part of a national effort to collect jeans for men, women and children living in homeless shelters across the country. The Tewksbury High students, led by Katelyn Wentworth, collected 182 pairs of jeans this year. That's up from 128 last year. Classmates Sam Anderson, Abbie Villalpando and Emilee Clapp joined Katelyn to fold all the jeans and delivered 62 pair to the Lowell Transitional Center. The following day, Katelyn, her mother and friend Adam Scopa delivered the remaining 120 pair of jeans to the collection center at Aeropostale. "I want to thank all of Tewksbury for their generous donations and my friends for helping me out with the drive," said Katelyn. "I'm looking forward to collecting even more next year!"
