Our weekly listing of events happening in Tewksbury and Wilmington this weekend.

Friday, Sept. 6
Bayberry at Emerald Court will welcome renowned local author Donald Brown for a discussion about his newly published book “The Morphine Dream” on Friday, September 6 at 6:30 PM. The event is free and open to all in the community.
Check out Back to School Time Out at Magic Brush Pottery at 361 Main Street. On Sept. 6, attendees will paint a Peace Out Canvas. This is made easy enough for everyone to do. Painters will will learn how to paint this great piece. 16X20 canvas with great neon colors. $30/each. Snack Included.
Friday Morning Matinee at the Tewksbury Public Library will feature 'Now You See Me,' an action-suspense film starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo and Woody Harrelson. The film starts at 10:30 a.m. Free popcorn and lemonade will be provided. Find out how to register for this event.
Saturday, Sept. 7
Registration for the upcoming Tewksbury Girls Basketball League clinic and in-town rec league season will be open at the Tewksbury Public Library on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. TGBL is open to Tewksbury girls in grades 2 through 9.
Saint Williams Church will hold an electronic and bicycle recycle day on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m at the parking lot located on 1351 Main Street, Tewksbury.
The 7th Annual Tewksbury Youth Football and Cheerleading Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Sept. 7 at the Tewksbury Elks, starting at 530 p.m. This is open to all families of football players, cheerleaders, and alumni of the program. Tickets are $7, $30 for family pass, and $10 a the door.
Sunday, Sept. 8
The Tewksbury Family Picnic and Field Day will be held on Sunday, September 8th
from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m at the Livingston Parks Complex. There are lots of fun family activities planned (face painting, crafts, kickball, relay races, etc.) in between meeting up with old and new friends.
