• Montague Selectboard begins early discussion of FY27 cuts (recorder.com) — Montague officials are weighing 2% budget cuts for many town departments, but say the Turners Falls Municipal Airport and several others are unlikely to face reductions because they already run on bare-bones funding or fixed contracts. Over the coming months, the Selectboard and Finance Committee will scrutinize each department’s request before presenting a final FY27 plan to Town Meeting members this spring.
