No One Injured As Car Crashes Into Wakefield Cumberland Farms
The crash remained under investigation as of Wednesday afternoon, according to a police spokesperson.

WAKEFIELD, MA — Wakefield’s Cumberland Farms location on Lowell Street was the site of an accident on Wednesday when a driver crashed their car into the front of the store, a police spokesperson confirmed.
No one was injured in the crash, which involved an elderly driver around 10 a.m., according to the spokesperson.
Wakefield’s police spokesperson said on Wednesday that town’s building inspector had been notified. The building inspector then responded to the scene, the spokesperson said.

Cumberland Farms is located at 200 Lowell St. in Wakefield.

The store was open as of Wednesday evening despite the crash hours earlier. One of the store's doors was boarded up, with additional damage seen to an adjacent window.
