Firebird Pops Orchestra Teams with the Multiverse Concert Series to Present Octave of Light

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – This month, Firebird Pops Orchestra teams up with the Multiverse Concert Series to present Octave of Light, a groundbreaking concert that fuses orchestral music, electronic soundscapes, and real scientific data to explore the possibilities of life on distant exoplanets.
Featuring a new full-orchestra arrangement by composer and scientist Dr. David Ibbett, Octave of Light transforms the light spectra of alien worlds into music, offering audiences a dazzling, immersive experience at the intersection of art and discovery.
WHAT:
Octave of Light, performed by the Firebird Pops Orchestra in collaboration with the Multiverse Concert Series. Featuring sopranos Beth Sterling and Motomi Tanaka, and Dr. David Ibbett on piano and electronics. Inspired by astrophysics and sonifying data from exoplanets.
