The summer jazz concert series begins this Thursday at the front plaza of the Beebe Library at 6 p.m. The concert series features musicians from the Berklee School of Music, both current students and alumni.  "The series presents a mix of styles and an international flavor with musicians that hail from the United States and around the world. According to Berklee's Michael Borgida, the concert series coordinator, the featured bands play music ranging from straight ahead jazz, to pop influenced, to jazz that reflects each performer's cultural origins," a release states. The series kicks off this Thursday with Byron Manchest.
