Road Work Project To Affect Traffic In Wakefield This Week

WAKEFIELD, MA — Paving preparations will begin on Green Street (Main Street to Dillaway Street), as well as Dillaway Street, Upland Road, and Sidney Street on Monday, Aug. 18, according to a post from the Town of Wakefield.

The roads are included in the Hart’s Hill Water Tower replacement project. Operations are scheduled to begin at 7 a.m.

The town advised drivers to keep this in in mind during their commute.

The work is expected to take two days. Once the road has been graded, paving will follow at a later date.
