End-of-year campaign finance reports for 2021 are due to Wakefield Town Clerk Betsy Sheeran before January 20, 2022. The campaign finance law, MGL Chapter 55, is a comprehensive statute governing the financing of political campaigns in the Commonwealth at the state, county, district, and municipal levels. City and town clerks administer this campaign finance law for candidates and committees that file on the municipal level.

- Town candidates and political committees are required to file Form CPF M102.
- Form CPF M102-0 may be filed in lieu of the Form CPF M102 by candidates who file locally, do not have a political committee organized on their behalf, and have not received any contributions, spent any money, maintained a balance, or incurred any debts.
Both of these forms can be downloaded from the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance website.
Forms can be submitted to the Town Clerk via email at bsheeran@wakefield.ma.us or at the office in Town Hall, 1 Lafayette Street.
