Town Of Wakefield: Upcoming Roadway Milling: Portions Of Richardson Street And Main Street

Beginning November 22, pavement milling will take place on Richardson Street (between Wakefield Avenue and Melvin Street) and Main Street (between Carriage Lane and Salem Street.) in preparation for repaving operations, which are tentatively scheduled the week of November 29. Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. on Monday (11/22) for both Richardson and Main Streets and Tuesday (11/23) for Richardson Street. The work will be performed by Town of Wakefield contractor Lazaro Paving Corporation and is weather dependent.

Access to homes will be provided to the maximum extent possible, but please provide more time if you travel through these areas. Curbside trash and recycling for local residents should continue to be placed outside by 6 a.m. on typical pick-up days.
