Wakefield Animal Control Responds to 156 Calls in June

The June 2013 Wakefield Animal Control report was recently released.

Wakefield Animal Control officer Ken Stache recently released the report detailing the animal-related calls during the month of June. 

Wakefield Animal Control responded to 156 general animal calls throughout the month of June. 

Of those calls, three were dog bites, nine were barking complaints and 13 were deceased animal removed. 

Stache responded to 40 police-related animal calls throughout June, issuing 13 violations and 10 warnings. 

The Animal Control officer patrols schools and town buildings daily and has had two cases of animals exposed to possible rabid animals.
