Wakefield To Dedicate Dog Park To Late Councilor Peter May

May, who died last month​ after a battle with ALS, was a key reason the Main Street Dog Park got created.

WAKEFIELD, MA — The town will dedicate the Main Street Dog Park to the late Councilor Peter May, who was a key proponent of the park's creation.

Residents are invited to the dog park on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. for the dedication. The rain date is Sunday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m.

May died last month after a battle with ALS. He was 62.

The park is located at the corner of Main Street and Railroad Avenue.
