Wakefield Hosting Drive-Thru Flu Clinic For Adults
The town will give out flu shots to adults 19 and over Oct. 17.
WAKEFIELD, MA — The town will host a drive-thru flu clinic at Wakefield High School Saturday, Oct. 17. The clinic is for adults 19 and over from all communities and will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Attendees are asked to wear a face covering and short sleeves and bring:
- A completed regular vaccine form or high-dose vaccine form, depending on your preference, and
- Your insurance card(s)
The vaccine is free with most insurances except Aetna and United Healthcare. There will be a $15 fee for regular flu vaccine not covered by a participating insurance carrier. A limited amount of high-dose vaccine is available and out-of-pocket payment is not an option for this type; we are only accepting insurance for the high-dose vaccine.
