Wakefield Man Arrested At Sunday's Boston Common Protest
The Boston Globe reported Ronald McCarron was arrested after driving a van through a police barricade at the "Rise Against Tyranny" rally.

BOSTON — A Wakefield man pleaded not guilty after he was arrested for what police said was driving a rental van through a barricade during a protest Sunday on Boston Common, according to The Boston Globe.
The "Rise Against Tyranny" rally for those fed up with COVID-19 vaccine mandates drew counter-protesters, leading to skirmishes as members of the two groups kept butting heads.
Ronald McCarron was arrested after driving a U-Haul van through a police barricade, speeding from where a large group of people were, police said. McCarron told police a "hostile" group of people were banging on hiss van and sprayed something on it, causing him to hit drive away.
