The impacted area runs along Pleasant Street between its intersections with Salem Street and Flanders Lane near Lake Quannapowitt. The town on Friday asked motorists to consider the work site when planning their commute.

Where commuters may be able to detour around the site, some Pleasant Street residents will see their driveway access temporarily blocked while paving machines and paving operations pass by.

“If impacted residents have concerns about driveway access, side-street parking is an alternative that can be considered,” the town said.

Residents should continue to place trash and recycling outside by 6 a.m. on their typical pick-up day.
