WAKEFIELD, MA — Wakefield has a new community art project in form of self-portraits on fence posts at the town’s Greenwood Elementary School.

The unique spin on self-portrait art came from the classroom of art teacher Amy Drago via the students in the Greenwood School Class of 2022, as noted in a social media post from the Greenwood School Parent Teacher Organization on Wednesday.

Students painted images of themselves on individual fence posts. Those posts were then installed over the summer.
