2. Coffee Perch to Open Saturday at 9 a.m.

Main Street's newest addition, The Coffee Perch, will open Saturday at 9 a.m.

The Coffee Perch will sell three blends of coffee from a roaster in Rhode Island, espresso drinks and baked goods including bagels, muffins, croissants, scones and breakfast sandwiches.

3. Sendoff Ceremony for LCpl. Shanna Boyden Ueda Saturday

A Hero’s Welcome and the Warriors’ Watch Riders will host a send-off for LCpl Shanna Boyden Ueda, USMC of East Walpole. Shanna is being deployed to Afghanistan. A rally will be held at the Town Center at Veteran’s Memorial Statue, 135 School Street, Walpole at 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
