On Saturday, look for some sunshine with a thunderstorm or two possible this afternoon. High 77F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

At night expect, variable clouds with showers and scattered thunderstorms. Storms more numerous this evening. Low 64F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

Sunday look for a few showers in the morning with scattered thunderstorms arriving in the afternoon. High near 75F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%. 

Sunday night calls for scattered thunderstorms during the evening followed by a few showers overnight. Low 62F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%.

3. First Meeting for New Walpole Skywatchers Group

The Walpole Recreation Department has teamed up with the Adams Farm Committee to form the new group, The Walpole Skywatchers. 

People of all ages and interest levels are welcome to come learn about astronomy and spend time with other stargazers.

Their first meeting will be Saturday, July 28, at the Adams Farm Barn at 999 North Street beginning at 9:00 p.m.

During each meeting an amateur astronomer will be in attendance to answer questions and point out different stars and constellations.

Skywatchers are encouraged to bring telescopes and binoculars but are not required.

4. Weekend Brunch

Where are you eating out this weekend? Here are some local restaurants serving weekend brunch:

Raffael's - Sunday bruch at Raffael's is opened to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Raven's Nest- Sunday brunch at the Raven's Nest is from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Old Country Buffet- The Old Counry Buffet will be open on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

5. "Treasure Island" by the Walpole Children's Theatre

 Check out the Walpole Children's Theatre production of "Treasure Island" from the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, adapted by Joseph George Caruso.

There are two shows on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at 2 Scout Road, East Walpole.

Walpole Children's Theatre, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Walpole, offering education in the theatre arts.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children and seniors.
