Letter to the Editor: Thank You Andrea Taber
The following is a letter to the editor from Tucson, AZ resident Gloria Bonneville in support of Andrea Tabor.

Dear Andrea Taber:
I watched your interview on Fox News today. Thank you so much for with regard to the intended use of the food stamp cards.
While standing in the checkout line at the local supermarket, I am constantly amazed at the way the cards are used. Steaks, pastries, candy and other non essential foods are purchased with these cards and then cash is paid for beer and cigarettes. I don't know what the requirements are for one to have the cards, but it seems as if they are being very misused, and we, the taxpayers are paying for it. If I remember correctly, when they were first introduced, they originally were to be used for essentials to feed the family and there were restrictions on what could be purchased. Either something drastically has changed over the years or no one is watching or the powers that be no longer care. Unfortunately I think it may be the last one.
You represent many of the frustrated taxpayers out here. I do hope you get lots of encouraging responses from throughout this country for taking such a brave stand. More likely, the person who does not take the "politically correct" view will be villified. I hope that is not happening to you.
