• Police investigating after 83-year-old man dies after being struck by a vehicle in Walpole (boston25news.com) — An 83-year-old man died Sunday afternoon after being hit by an SUV while crossing Washington Street in Walpole, and local police and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office are investigating. The man was taken by Walpole Fire to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, and the 19-year-old driver stayed at the scene as authorities continue their inquiry.
