PHOTOS: Dozens Turn Out For Concert on the Common Double Feature

Concert-goers enjoyed music by Walpole's own Senior Moment, a chorus made up of Walpole seniors, followed by singer/songwriter Chris O'Brien, Tuesday night.

Dozens of locals got a double dose of live music on a beautiful Tuesday night as Walpole Recreation continued their weekly Concerts on Common.

The Town Common was scattered with concert-goers on folding chairs and blankets enjoying Walpole's own Senior Moment, a chorus made up of Walpole seniors, followed by solo act Chris O'Brien.

The night seemed to epitomize summer as there were burgers and hot dogs grilling, an ice cream truck on standby and other snacks for sale.

Footballs and frisbees were being tossed around. Kids were running through the grass and climbing the tree in the center of the Common while their parents sat back and enjoyed the performances.

Next week's installment will feature musician Evan Goodnow, on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
