July 28: Concert on the Music Court

The Friends of Bird Park will be hosting a FREE, family friendly, summer concert on the music court from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. featuring The Shane Wood Jazz Trio. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show from the lawn area.  Refreshments will be sold. Parking is available on Polley Lane. The event sponsored by Union Congregational Church in East Walpole.

August 3: Bird Park Family Movie Night- Disney’s “Cars 2”

On Friday August 3, the Friends of Francis William Bird Park will be hosting a FREE showing of the Disney/Pixar film “Cars 2” under the stars in Bird Park. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and get ready to experience the movies like never before. The event is from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and FREE popcorn and drinks for the kids will be available. The movie will be shown in the grass field located next to the “Willow Pond.”  Parking will be at the Union Congregational Church parking lot and on Rhoades Ave. The Trustees of Reservations and Victory Assembly of God in Sharon are sponsoring the event.

August 4 & 5: Shakespeare in the Park

FREE event. Anthony and Cleopatra. Shows begin at 5:00 p.m. on the Music Court. Performed by the Medfield Gazebo Players. 

August 18: Concert on the Music Court

The Friends of Bird Park will be hosting a FREE, family friendly, summer concert on the music court from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. featuring artist Terry Chance. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show from the lawn area.  Refreshments will be sold to benefit future park events and improvements.  Event sponsored by Victory Assembly of God in Sharon.
