Elinor H. (Hallett) Pearson age 90 years died in the Serenity Hill Nursing Home in Wrentham, Massachusetts on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Born in Walpole, Massachusetts on April 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Hazel (Ormes) Hallett. She graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1940. She has been a resident of Norfolk since 1947 moving there from Walpole. Mrs. Pearson served as the Town Clerk and Tax Collector in the Town of Norfolk for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening and line dancing. Wife of the late Gustaf Pearson. Loving mother of Karen S. Pearson of Norfolk and Martin Pearson of Cumberland, RI. Cherished grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 2. Sister of the late Frances Hallett and Russell Hallett. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the graveside service on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10AM in the Norfolk Cemetery Main Street in Norfolk. Visiting hours are omitted at the request of the family. Arrangements by James H. Delaney &amp; Son Funeral Home Walpole.
