Walpole Obituary: LeRoy Hollman Jr.
Mr. Hollman was from East Walpole and served in the United States Army during World War II.

Mr. LeRoy Hollman, Jr. of East Walpole died in the Brigham & Womens Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday, August 19, 2012. Born in Gretna, Florida on September 5, 1924, he was the son of LeRoy and Violet (Chestnut) Hollman. He graduated with the Class of 1942 from the Quincy High School in Quincy, Florida. He entered into the United States Army and served his country during World War II. He was a Sergeant that entered the European Theater through Normandy.
Upon his return for the service, he worked at the Star Market Warehouse in Norwood for over 30 years, and retired from there.
He has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 7 years moving there from Roxbury. he was a member of the Charles Street AME Brotherhood.

Mr. Hollman loved bowling, fishing, and was an avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed basketball
Beloved husband of Frances Reather (Richardson) Hollman. Loving father of Juanita Brown of Florida, Donald Hollman of California, Karen Allen of East Walpole, and Mark Hollman of Randolph. Cherished grandfather of Dawn, Thane, Brock, Sage, Jared, Lindsey, Zachary and Keith. Brother of Joseph Hughes of Florida, the late Mercedes Cloud and the late Lorraine Barber.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 1PM. Visiting hours are Friday, August 24, 2012 in the funeral home from Noon to 1PM. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Walpole.
