UPDATED: Walpole Post 104 Tournament Info
Walpole takes on Quincy Post 294 in Game 1 today at Bird Middle School at 5:00 p.m.
Update (7/26): Walpole fell to Quincy Post 294, 9-2, Wednesday, ending a promising season with a record of 17-6. Walpole finished second in the District 6 West Division during the regular season. Post 104 lost two games straight to Quincy in best-of-three first round matchup.
Update (7/25): Walpole lost the first game in a best-of-three series to Quincy Post 294 Tuesday night 4-1 at Bird Middle School. They will play Game 2 in Quincy Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. Post 104 has to win their next two games to stay alive in postseason play.

After finishing a strong season with 35 points, Walpole Legion Post 104's baseball team (17-4-1) took second place in the District 6 West Division standings - losing out on the division crown by only one point to Norwood (36 points).
With tournament play beginning Tuesday, Post 104 is hoping their regular season success will translate into postseason wins.

Walpole will be playing Quincy Post 294 (14-8) in a two out of three elimination series beginning with Game 1, today, at Bird Middle School Field in Walpole at 5:00 p.m.
Game 2 will be at Adams Field in Quincy on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
Game 3, if necessary, will be at Bird Field on Thursday at 5:00 P.M.
The winner of the series will move on to the South Regional double-elimination tournament, which is a preliminary to the State Tournament. Four teams will play at each site, with the winners advancing to the State Final Eight Tournament.
Head Coach Ralph White said in email, "Post 104 will not comment at this time, other than we take it one game at a time and we are a very confident team."
